Earlier this week I finished EMS Designs Dragonfly Baby and mailed it off to Pennsylvania to be added to a quilt for young girl with severe illnesses that essentially make her home bound. This is my second finish for CJC 2014.  WooHoo!!!

CJC 2014 - Project #2 Dragon Fly Baby

CJC Project #2, EMS Designs Dragon Baby. I love stitching these babies, even though there is several colors I love the outcome and the fact there are no specialty stitches. I find this type of "big" project very therapeutic. Once the stitching is finished this project will be sent off to Quilts for Older Children and Adults for a young girl named Renee.

Rooster Baby Finished

Rooster Baby
EMS Designs
14ct Aida DMC Floss

Rooster baby was finished in March and shipped off to Pennsylvania to be added to a quilt. I stitched this one really quick, I tend to be a "leisure" stitcher taking my time stitching in the evening with the TV.  This one had to be done in 4 weeks so I was extra busy since I am not the fastest needle in the West and the TV can be distracting.

March Madness Update 2-8-2012

I missed a few days of the stitching madness to make baskets.  Oh well, I could not help myself I just had to get a little weaving done.  So now I have three baskets waiting to be finished.

Thursday I picked up a new project (bad girl) for the Quilts for Older Children and Adults stitching group.  Our group leader Jeneen was ready to ship squares off to the quilter when she realized she only had 19 squares and needed one more.  So guess who is stitching EMS Baby Rooster?  Me!!  This one has a very quick turn around, I must have it in the mail before the 30th.  No problem as long as I leave my baskets alone.  Thank goodness it is Spring Break which means I can get some early morning stitching done while the kiddos are still in bed.

Today should be a good stitching day, hubby will be at the basketball championships, I have plenty of leftovers from yesterdays dinner and rain is in the forcast so I can't work outside.

Another EMS Design and CJC 2012 Finish

I have completed the free March Flowers from EMS Designs.  This piece is en route to the the Quilts for Older Children and Adults group to be added to a  quilt for a young girl named Ailsa.  It gives me lots of pleasure to stitch for charity.  Now I have two more due in the next month for the group.  This was also on my CJC 2012 list.   So that makes three projects finished in February--hopefully I will get more stitching done in March.
