Quaker Apple

Did not realize that I have not posted for over 2 months, shame on me.  I have been stitching, just nothing completed to share.  This cooler weather makes me want to stitch more. Finally finished the stitching of AuryTM Quaker Apple in October and decided that I need to get this posted before 2014. This pattern was free on her site several years ago, perhaps as far back as 2008.  Currently, her only freebie patterns are her annual Quaker Patriotic Hearts which are fantastic.   When I get time this Quaker Apple will become a teacher gift, perhaps finished into a flat fold or a block.  Now I can mark another finish on my CJC 2013 list (already lining up projects for CJC 2014).

Two More CJC Starts

Two more Crazy January Challenge 2013 starts to share today. That leaves 5 more to get started before the end of the month. Easy as pie!! The first picture is of the Christmas Pear from Samplers and Santas blog. I love these pears and I am anxiously awaiting publication of the February Pear. The second photo is of Quaker Apple by AuryTM this used to be a freebie on her site long ago. I am so glad I hung on to it.

Both of these pieces were stitched for Quilts for Older Children and Adults.  The 2009 Patriotic Heart form Aury TM was par of my CJC 2012 Challenge that I can cross off my "to finish stitching list".  So happy I can share these with you.

March Madnes 3-4-12 Update

CJC Projects 4 and 5

I ws not able to post project number 4 yesterday, my camera battery needed charging.  So here it is today.   Aury TM Patriotic Heart 2009.   I am stitching it in pink for
the Quilts for Older Children and Adults charity stitching group.
