February Smalls Finish

Wow, it has been a crazy month in my household.  It started by us losing our main computer, one Friday night it just died, motherboard gone, boo hoo!!  My hubby was able to save some of the files stored on our hard drive -- no we did not back up to the cloud or anything else for that matter.  It took us two weeks to decide on a replacement.  We had one in mind from Best Buy, it was not in stock, in store or on-line. So we walked out of there with two new laptops for the kids, not sure how that happened.  Finally, hubby was able to custom order the machine he wanted from HP.  So now I have a lovely HP Envy on my computer table with Windows 7, which is why we went with HP.  Now if I can get Microsoft to stop sending the pop-ups to upgrade to Windows 10, life would be perfect.  My kids have Windows 10 on their laptops, as for me I am sticking with 7.  I digress!!

French Country Cat and Pattern Giveaway

Here is a little cat I stitched up for a friend at Christmas. I stitched it on an old piece of hand-dyed evenweave from Enchanted Fabrics -- wish she was still in business.   Plan to frame it up and give it to my BFF the cat lover.  This is my 9th finish for 2013 and my 6 project finished on my CJC 2013 list.

A CJC Finish and Three CJC Starts to Share

My stitching fingers have been hot lately, just stitching away trying to catch up with my new CJC starts before the 15th which is when I leave for a basket weaving convention.  While watching the Wild Card Playoffs this weekend I managed to start and finish Samplers and Santas Pear II--lovely!!  I am in love with this piece, the colors are fabulous and it just makes me smile.  I am not one to stitch a pattern more than once, but this one has potential to be a repeat project for me.

Another CJC Project Finished and Giveaway

Last night while watching the Olympics I finished another project that I started in January as part of the year long Crazy January Challenge.  A Very Merry Christmas from JBW Designs was visited by the frog several times while I was stitching the border, I guess the excitement of the Olympics distracted me.  All I need is a tiny star button to put on top of the tree to make it truly complete.

March Madness Update for 3-11-2012

Managed to get a few stitches in Joy, Love, Peace from JBW designs yesterday afternoon.  I really like all these little Christmas trees that I have been stitching this year they will make some wonderful ornaments and they are a pleasure to stitch.  This is one of my CJC 2012 projects.
