I continue to work on Blue Ribbon Designs, Stop and Smell the Flowers. Today I started on the top left and reviewed each block and finished any thing that needed stitched. I finished the flowers between numbers 8 and 9, S and T, and below E. Plan to stitch a little more while watching The Voice tonight.
Enjoy!!

Turtle Trot - Feb
Time to show off my Turtle Trot, a SAL hosted by Claudette of BAP Attack, who just happens to be on a quest to stitch all her stash. That is just so crazy and so inspiring!! I love it.
As usual I am a day late, but yesterday was a sad day for our family, but we tried to make it a day of celebration. My dear MIL passed on 9 Nov and yesterday would have been her 74th birthday. Hubby and I took the kids (she was the only grandparent) for dinner and ended the evening singing Happy Birthday to Granny with a bit of carrot cake.
So now on to my piece I have decided to concentrate on one piece, my BRD "Stop and Smell the Flowers" it really needs my attention and I am so close to finishing it. I worked on some of the incomplete squares and a bit of the border. Here is where I started.
Here is where I am at today. I completed the block below "F" and the block between the numbers 3 and 4. Added another row of border on the right as well. Plan to stick with this one until it is done, done, done.
Don't forget about my surprise LHN pattern giveaway in the post below.
Enjoy!!

Hello and a WIPcalypse Finish (giveaway)
Oh wow, it has been nearly 2 months since my last post. Boy, I need to get my act together, especially since we are leaving town tomorrow. We are heading to beautiful, hopefully not burning, southern Colorado to meet friends for the 10 year adoption anniversary of our oldest children. I am praying for decent weather and no fires.
Now for the great news, I have completed a project on my WIP list. Granted, I could not have done this without the help of my round robin partners and several episodes of Foyle's War from Netflix. It is Peppermint Twist from my favorite Blue Ribbon Designs. Hurrah for me!!!
To celebrate I am giving away the pattern, it is in pristine condition and I would love to pass it on, So if you are interested in this gem please do the following:
1- Become a follower of my blog.
2- Leave a comment so I know you are interested.
3- Be sure to tell your friends about the giveaway.
I will announce the happy recipient on 10 July.
See ya!!
