Patriotic Finish

Hello all my stitching friends!!  I can't believe we are already in the month of July.  Here is a quick little finish I have to share just in time for the 4th of July.   It is designed by a cross stitcher that I follow, Sandra Longan, you can see it here on her blog or on Pinterest under Patriotic Cross Stitch.

This one is going to my friend Jeneen in Pennsylvania for the Quilts for Older Children and Adults.  The stitched squares will be used in a quilt that will be auctioned to raise money for the group.   The money is used to buy supplies to create the quilts and pays for postage.  Our group mails quilts all over the world.

More news, last October we lost our #1 fur baby, Gracie quite suddenly.  Well now, we have a new fur baby to keep our Hazel company.  Peanut, a Dachshund mix that we rescued from the Wichita Falls Humane Society.

Check back later in the week, I plan to have a giveaway with my next post.  It will include patterns and a card from my card blog Tea-n-Stamps

Looking for a Round Robin, if anyone knows of one please leave me a note in the comments.

Enjoy!!

Great stitching and gift for the quilt. What a wonderful organization. Peanut is adorable. I'm sure Hazel feels better having a new friend, even though no one can replace Gracie. I'd love to give them both some cuddles!

That is a sweet, little stitch. Awww, your dogs are so cute. I am glad Hazel and Peanut are buddies. That is quite the picture of Peanut. ;)
