Stitcher's Challenge 2011 Finish

The Yahoo group Quilits for Older Childrena and Adults hosted a stitcher challenge this year that had particular themes.  You could stitich as many projects as you liked as long as you did them one at a time--meaning you could not sign up for another until you completed one.  I am happy to announce that I completed one, not sure if I will do another my plate is getting full.

I chose to a sea life pattern for my project and it took me a while to find the right pattern and being the thrifty lady that I am it had to be free.  After weeks of searching I found Seashells by the Seashore bu Ursula Michaels on Krenik's website. I substituted the krenik with DMC and stitched it up PDQ.  It is stitched on 14 ct white aida --standand requirement for the group--using all DMC floss.  Tomorrow it is off to Pennsylvania to be added to the rest of the squares for the Love Quilts Brazil project.  To learn more about Love Quilts click here

Enjoy your Labor Day!

See ya!!

Congratulations on your finish! I am also involved in the charity stitch group with you. I find my plate is full since joining in many SALs and the Crazy Jan Challenge 2011.
