A Simple Card

Every month I host I host a Christmas card swap on Swap-Bot.  In January I challenged the swappers by asking them to make a very simple card with only stamped images.  No embellishments, no ribbon, no layers.  This was even difficult for me to do, I love to put layers on my cards.  The card looks much better than the photo, I added a little bit of glitter on the swirls of the tree and the stars.

Card Recipe: Stamped Set: A Timber from Close To My Heart
Paper: Stampin Up Whisper White
Ink: Stampin Up Old Artichoke, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and  Crushed Curry
Other: Clear Star Sakura Jelly Roll Pen

Enjoy!!

Christmas Card with Bird

New card I came up with this week for a challenge #47 on the Weekly Christmas Card Challenge Blog.  Got it all right except forgot to add ribbon, but not real sure where I would put it.  I used this design for cards I made this summer and it translated really well into a Christmas card.

Card Recipe:
Sentiment: Printed from PC in Word
Paper: GinaK Heavy Base Weight White, Designer Paper Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses
Other: SU Word Window, Two-Step Bird and Modern Label Punches, SU Shimmer Paint, Rhinestone Brad, SU Dimensionals and Tape Runner

Enjoy!!
