A Lizzy Kate Finish!!

I have finally finished stitching a Lizzie Kate pattern that I swapped with Justine. I started this project in February 2015 as part of a Crazy January Challenge that had participants stitching a a new project every day from 1 January to 28 February in honor of So Cal Debbie.  Debbie was a wonderful cross stitcher who passed away much too early.  She loved to share her hobby with her stitching friends and she was always one to leave a comment and engage in a bit of conversation.  It was a small thing to do, but so nice and memorable.  The kind of interaction you need in this crazy world.  I think this sums up what we all do for each other by supporting our stitching habits and just listening when we need some encouragement.  I have made many friends here and I cherish each of you.

Such true words, both in your stitching and your blog post. I'm sure I'm not alone in missing Debbie. She was so generous with her time and encouraged many people.
