The Sisterhood is moving to......

CANADA!! Congrats to Claire in Digby, Nova Scotia. Claire please e-mail me your address mailto:texdelch@sbcglobal.net so I can get her going, she is anxious to meet you. The response was so surprising I had 43 stitchers in total to put in the drawing. Thanks goodness for random.org, I had to copy the results and paste them below, what fun. Let's just say with some things I am technically challenged.

Overwhelming!!

Good Morning -

The response to joining the Sisterhood has been just fantastic, overwhelming, wow!!! So far I have 33 happy stitchers offering her a new home. It is so cool to see so many dedicated cross stitch lovers out there that want to add one more project to their list at this busy time. Boy, this is a busy time of year with all the holiday and gift stitching, not to mention exchanges, whew!! How do we do it all?

She is so ready to move on and there are two days left to leave a comment and add your name to the drawing. Again, I will announce her new home and post a picture of my finished piece on Friday -- Halloween. I am so excited!!!

See ya!!

The Sisterhood is ready to move on!!

Dear Stitching Friends -

Many of you have been waiting patiently as I completed my Sisterhood task, at least this is what I liked to tell myself as I labored along this journey. I am very proud to announce that she is finished and ready to move on to the next stitcher. It was fun to stitch her and this is the only time in all my stitching years that I changed every color to suit my taste. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome even though the frogs did pay me a few visits on this journey, surely they have gone into hibernation by now.

If you are inclined to become a member of this Sisterhood, just add a comment to my blog. I will be taking names until 1800 CST, Thursday, 30 October 2008. The new recipient will be selected and announced on Halloween. She is packaged up and anxiously waiting for her new home address. A picture of my stitching will be posted with the winner's name on 31 October.

I have added the journey of this Waxing Moon Designs #119 chart as compiled by Anna (aka Stitch Bitch). I think it is wonderful to know where she has been and where she will go. Thanks Anna!

As you can see she has been around the world and she is eager to hit the road again. She has spent way too much time in the North Texas wind.

Happy Stitching!!

It is about time!!

Has it been three weeks or more since my last post? Time has just been flying by so fast I feel I cannot keep up. I have been up to my ears in stitching projects, basket projects, paper projects and taking care of my family. Did I mention work? I have managed to work at least one day a week for the past month as well. I really enjoy being substitute, I especially like working with our special needs kids. There are so few people that will sub in that area and those babies need us the most. PTA has been keeping me occupied as well, not to mention visits to Granny in Amarillo for WTA&M Football and DS 6th birthday.

This last month I made a few crafty purchases to help with all my hobbies. I won a Cricut on Ebay along with a few cartridges. I bought a Crop-A-Dile based on Meari's review, I could not resist and I do not regret it. Joining Stacy's monthly scrpabooking in a kit program has been great fun.

I have a few stitching finishes under my belt, but I am not letting the "cat out of the bag" until tomorrow. This evening I am going to do a little blog maintenance to make sure everything on the side panel is current.

Tomorrow will be the day to check out all my super updates and photos. Right now I need to get some blog housekeeping done.

Have a great evening.
