June SFS and Smalls update

This is my last Stitch from Stash report for group A, I have signed up for group B.  I made no report in May because the month just got away from me and I did not do much stitching either.  I am happy to report no spending in May or June and several finishes. Two finishes in May and six in June. By my calculations I had six finishes in the 30x30 to 60x60 category and two in the 60x60 and two in the 120x120 group so I am doing pretty good.  Thanks to Mel at Epic Stitching for hosting SFS.  Look forward to doing it again.

Month: May/June Spent: $0
Earned: $40
Carryover: $27.00(April) + $40 = $67

Now for my Smalls Update hosted by Heather at Stitching Lotus. Having missed the month of May due to barley stitching -- this always seems to happen the last month of school. I more than made up for my lack of stitching in June.  Here are six sweet smalls that I finished.  I love it when the kids are out of school and I can just relax with my needle and a good movie as they play Minecraft.   I plan on stitching up more Christmas smalls next month since Heather is offering a bonus in July.

JUne TUSAL

It has been months since I posted about my little jar of ORTs, so here it is full of floss wrapper sitting atop a jar of nuts in my kitchen.  I have been putting my floss on bobbins as I have lots of floss that needs to stored for future projects.

Enjoy!!

Hello, I am still here!!

Okay, I have not blogged in a month.  The month of May always seems to just fly by, this year was no exception.  It is always busy at the kids schools.  I had book fair, field trips, PVO meetings, Box Tops contest, parties, teacher gifts, hubby graduating with a MA, family visits, vet visits, and we cannot forget the flood.  Yes, we received enough rain in May (13.4 inches) to bust a 5 year drought.  The month started with the combined lake levels around 20% and ended with them overflowing.  Our prayers were answered.  Now I have no excuse not to spruce up the yard.

I did manage on finish in May for Q4OAC, a lovely heart that I stitched in a blush pink color.  It was #53 on my SOCal Debbie CJC for 2015, so glad to have one more stitched up on the list.  I have a few more that are close to complete that I hope to share real soon.  Pardon my not so great phone photo -- but I was in a hurray to get it in the mail.

Enjoy!! CJ
