April SFS Report

I spent a bit more in April than I had intended this month.  I purchased a pattern and fabric for a lap quilt square for Quilts for Older Children and Adults.  I also had to bought a bit even weave to try dying with beet juice.

Month: April
Spent: $23.00
Earned: $14.00
Carryover: $36.00 (March) - $23.00 + $14.00 = $27.00

I have three finishes that qualify this month as stitched from stash, some of it quite old stash.  The first two can be seen here, they are the Sizzling Summer Sampler and Holiday Spirit. The last is Little Heart Swirl from Northern Needlework Expression.

The sampler I bought as a kit years ago from a LNS in Oklahoma City that is now closed.  Holiday Spirit is a freebie from Sampler Bird Stitchery that I stitched up on a scrap of 16 count aida.  The heart was a free pattern that I stitched on a very old, small piece of lavender aida that I held on to for years knowing I would find the right pattern one day for that 7x7 bit of fabric.

At least I am still in the black,  I do not anticipate any spending in May since I will spend most of the month making baskets for Teacher gifts.

Enjoy!!
