Mega Mini Madness #2

My second peace project is "Peace" by SamSarah Designs in the 2009 Just Cross Stitch Christmas edition.  I am stitching it on 16ct over-dyed aida from Stephanie.  Made a few color adjustments, so far so good.

I have an update on my Jeannette Douglas "Peace" apparently stitching over 1 on 30ct straw dyed linen is not my thing.  Did not like the outcome at all, so I started over on the 16ct Parchment aida and I am much happier with the results, pardon my shoddy photo, but it is really nice.

October Turtle Trot

It has been awhile since I posted a Turtle Trot update, boy time does fly by so  quickly. This piece it really the only one I have worked on since June.  I really need to get back on the Turtle Trot and finish a few more.

Pokemon Anyone??

This is Oshwot.  During the summer, my 11 year old son decided he want to join his 12 year old sister on a quest to stitch up Pokémon characters and make a quilt. Here is very his first project. He is already working on number 2. As for my DD, she is almost done with #1 and #2. Now I need to find Pokémon material.

Mega Mini Madness #1

I recently joined Mega Mini Madness SAL hosted by Pull Another Thread.  This SAL runs the month of October and the goal is to start and finish a new mini each week.  This I my first post and I chose to stitch all projects with the named Peace.  Right now we need a little bit more Peace in the world.

My first Peace project is a Jeannette Douglas design from the  2012 Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornament magazine.  I am stitching over 1 and I have had to restart twice, I am also using a magnifier to help with the stitching.  I apologize for the blurry shot, t is early and I am using my cell phone.
