Country Cottage Needleworks Start

Here is a new Country Cottage Needleworks start for me that I could not resist.  This pattern, Daisy Sampler, was a gift from Justine in the UK. I have sent her a CCN pattern in return along with a few Texas goodies.  I plan to make it into an end of year teacher gift.  It would be lovely hanging in a classroom.
I had some trouble with the border, this is my second start, the first piece ended up in the trash due to excessive "frogging'.  Having better luck with this one.  I have added this to my CJC 2014 list.

Sampler Winter Finished

I have another CJC finish to share with you, Sampler Winter by Marika Belfiori.  I did make a few changes, I left off the stars and I backstitched the snowman's face and the ball on the hat to make them standout.  This makes 6 finished of my original 15 CJC 2014 starts.  I have more new projects to share with you later.  As a friend recently said, stitching is all about the journey--she is so right.

It's a new moon and my little jar of orts is full, ready to be emptied and start again.   I managed to finish five pieces in February, I have three new projects to start this month, so I am sure March will be very productive.
