Another EMS Design and CJC 2012 Finish

I have completed the free March Flowers from EMS Designs.  This piece is en route to the the Quilts for Older Children and Adults group to be added to a  quilt for a young girl named Ailsa.  It gives me lots of pleasure to stitch for charity.  Now I have two more due in the next month for the group.  This was also on my CJC 2012 list.   So that makes three projects finished in February--hopefully I will get more stitching done in March.

A Simple Card

Every month I host I host a Christmas card swap on Swap-Bot.  In January I challenged the swappers by asking them to make a very simple card with only stamped images.  No embellishments, no ribbon, no layers.  This was even difficult for me to do, I love to put layers on my cards.  The card looks much better than the photo, I added a little bit of glitter on the swirls of the tree and the stars.

Card Recipe: Stamped Set: A Timber from Close To My Heart
Paper: Stampin Up Whisper White
Ink: Stampin Up Old Artichoke, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and  Crushed Curry
Other: Clear Star Sakura Jelly Roll Pen

Panda Baby

WooHoo!! I finally finished EMS Panda Baby that I started in the CJC 2012 Challenge.  There were 12 different shades of green in this puppy--it was driving me crazy.  But it is all stitched up and on the way to Pennsylvania to be Incorporated in to a quilt for Quilts for Older Children and Adults.

Enjoy!!
